"This morning at the temple we did sealings as a district. that was pretty awesome. We got to be witnesses and also proxy for kids. Then we went and sat in the Celestial Room for about an hour, so that was nice. I have discovered that my most effective scripture study is always in the Celestial Room!

Time is flying, and while I'm excited I still have so much more to learn!!!! Lol. We have have had to re gear this week as we had all been getting a little off task in class, but the Tuesday night devotional really made us realize that we were on the Lord's time and we really can't afford to waste a minute... so anyways, Spanish is goin pretty good, we teach our second lesson in Spanish tonight so i''m pretty excited for that!

So i had another little miracle this week. Last Friday or Saturday I was eating my hamburger when I noticed it was cold and pink in the middle.... YUCK! So I ended up getting sick from it... ran a high fever all Saturday and Saturday night... Saturday night I had a hard decision. I was still really sick, but it was time to start our fast for Fast Sunday! All my roommates and my comp told me I shouldnt cuz I needed to be drinking fluids and I was also taking medicine... I decided that I should be obedient and that the Lord would take care of me if I did. So I started my fast, with the exception that I would take my medicine in the morning, but no fluids or food. By about 10 am Sunday morning I felt like a million bucks and did the rest of the night, even with no fluids or food. I never had a fever again!

The Lord wants to bless us so much but there are some blessings we are entitled to that we can't get except by obedience. In D & C section 130 it says , (paraphrased) that there is a law irrevocably decreed in heaven that blessings and commandments are connected and that every blessing is only a consequence of following the law upon which that blessing was predicated. SO BE OBEDIENT!!!! GET BLESSED!!!!"
