The latest from Elder E:
Sunday night we had choir practice for the performance tuesday and then had an amazing fireside from one of the branch president's here. I have seen so many people from pg here over the length of my stay! Tanner Johnson, Jared Keele, Colby Pearson, Skyler Saunders, andy Weir from my volleyball team, Bradeley Ashdown Marshall Neilson!!! it's crazy!!! Kristina Baird also gets here today so i'm excited for that! then next week My Buddy Darren will get here...
So something pretty amazing happened to me this week.... On friday i was playing basketball and guarding this huge kid, and he cut left really hard and i tried to get in front of him, stepped on his foot, and my ankle literally folded in half.... I have literally never felt that much pain in my life... like seriously it was jacked up.. I honestly hardly even remember them taking me in to the trainer room. Like it hurt to the point where i thought i was gonna puke.. So there was all kinds of cracks and pops when i went down so it really didn't look good. The trainers wrapped a huge bag of ice around it and felt it and poked and prodded at it for another half an hour... So i was put on crutches and told to come back in three hours for more ice... It was pretty bad... Anyways while we were studying in the classroom i asked my district leader to give me a blessing... I DID NOT ask him to heal me or anything like that, just for a blessing so i could do the things i need to do here still with the injury... Well During the blessing Elder Cuthbertson's exact words were... " CONTINGENT UPON YOUR FAITH IT WILL BE AS THIS INJURY NEVER HAPPENED."....
Half an hour later i walked all the way across campus. no crutches, no limp, no pain..... When i got there and started to ice it there was no swelling left, no evidence of an injury at all... I was back on the court the next day and have not felt any ankle pain since....
I know that our heavenly father lives! i know that he knows everything going on in our lives and that through faith in his Son Jesus Christ all things are possible! He wants to bless us so bad!!! all we have to do is let him.

Tuesday Night devotional for choir we sang an amazing song that related to my experience so well... it is called "Behold the Wounds in Jesus' Hands" by John Pearson... Here are the Lyrics:
Behold the wounds in Jesus' hands, the marks upon his side, then ponder who he meant to save when on the cross he died.
We Cannot see the love of god which saves us from the fall. Yet know that Christ from wood and nails built mansions for us all.
Behold the outstretched hands of Christ our God, who came to save, whose love and grace redeems our souls and lifts us from the grave.
Though bruised and battered as we stray his guiding hands caress, HE WASHES AND ANOINTS WITH OIL THEN IN HIS ARMS WE REST.
Behold the wounds in Jesus' hands, look to your lord and live, he yearns to bless you with his love, and all your sins forgive.
Oh empty is the heart of man, when it is filled with sin, come open wide your broken heart, and let your savior in.
(Here is my favorite verse)

Behold his wounded hands and feet! come touch and see and feel the wounds and marks that you may know his love for you is real. THEN AS YOU FALL TO WORSHIP HIM AND WASH HIS FEET IN TEARS, YOUR SAVIOR TAKES YOU IN HIS ARMS AND QUIETS ALL YOUR FEARS."
