"All is good here.. we got struck by some crazy tropical storm this weekend so it has been raining cats and dogs here... i thought i knew what rain was until i lived in mexico during the rainy season.. its ridiculous!
well we had the baptism of miguel this weekend that was awesome! he is the one who was the drug addict and totally turned around... his mom came to his baptism and then to church the next day and we set an appointment to go see her on tuesday.. also the alcoholic dad of a member decided that he wants to talk to us so were prety excited for that...
we had another great expereince with fasting this week... we fasted fro people to go to church in spite of the crazy rain... when we got there there were only 20 people there.. so we were pretty depressed, and miguel hadnt showed up for his confirmation!! we prayed hard during the sacrament and when they opened the doors after the sacrament 37 people more were outside waiting including all of our recent converts our investigators and miguel and his fam!! it was way cool! the Lord has power to do ALL things for us if we have enough faith. its really hard to find people in a small town like this but if we keep working hard and trying as hard as we can the Lord always gives us people to teach! they fall from the sky! its always cool to see the work of the Lord in his vineyard....."
