"Holy crap its December!!!

Mexico is weird... they all have this superstition that if you drink water thats really cold it makes you sick... theres also these guys all over town that perform with like flaming sticks and hula hoops at red lights... they stand in the intersection and perform the entire red light and when it goes green they run to all the cars and hold out their hand for money.... lol its hilarious. some of them really are not good at it too.... like they drop the sticks all the time... theres also guys that sell individual cigarettes..... like they bring you a cig to your car put it in your mouth and light it for you... weird.... also guys come wash your windows at red lights just like without asking and expect you to pay them and if you dont its bad news... haha.

But its cool... the weather here is perfect right now... its like 82 everyday with a nice breeze... i gotta enjoy it while i can cuz once march april may comes... i´m gonna fry! ive lost a ton of weight already and in the summer i´m probably going to melt. but its ok... so we have three more baptismal dates set for this month but all three the people are kinda shaky so were hoping none of them fall trough... one is a husband of a member in our ward.. he is a jehova´s witness but has been going to our ward for a few months... the probelm is its really hard for him to change... its the family romero... keep them in your prayers.. the other guy we have a baptismal date is named ricardo. he's the boyfriend of a new member in our ward.. he's probably the most likely to go through with it... the other lady is named wendy ... she is really cool and has a strong testimony all ready... but her husband is a really strong Catholic and a drunk and is not really with her getting baptized ... so we´ll see what happens there.

The other day we were in a store and this drunk guy walked up to us and started talking to us in mayan... when we told him we didn't speak mayan he got really mad and started yelling at us... lol he said that how can we expect to come down here to mayan territory and not speak mayan! he was like "nobody is going to understand you if you dont speak mayan, how can you expect to preach the gospel if you dont know mayan " haha the funny thing is that the majority of the people here don't even know mayan and he didnt really know that much either, just the phrases he was yelling at us... haha then he was like.. hey i like you guys a lot, you just need to learn mayan... and thats not even the funniest part... we were in a store when this happened... and the guy walks up to the drink cooler and says to my companion " can i invite you to a drink ?" haha and my comp was like no thank you... and so the guy was like "can you invite me to a drink" haha! and my comp was like no i dont have any money... it was pretty great... i dont know why but the drunks always mess with us... haha if there is a drunk guy within a mile of us he finds us... whenever we see one we´re always like .. oh fetch... and everytime without fail he sees us and comes over to us....
at first it scared me cuz the majority are really angry drunks... but ive realized that one the lord is with us and two these guys are weak wasted mexicans who couldnt really do anything to us anyways... but yeah its pretty sad but kinda funny at the same time"

love all of you hope all is well
