"This has been a crazy week! lol

So the other night we were walking and a snake came out in front of us again, but it was little so we just stamped on it until it died.. i took a pic of it and the next day we showed it to a member and he was like YER CRAZY! that is like the most venemous snake there is here! lol but we didnt know and we were just stompin on it like it was a normal garder snake.. lol good thing it didn't bite us... lol we also had a run in with a HUGE scorpion, I will send pics of all that in a second... then we went to cut pimienta(pepper) for hermana julia, i will also send pics of that in a sec... and she cut us down some HUGE COCOS and we drank the milk and then she cut out the meat and we ate it with lime and chile... haha my english sounds terrible, but yeah it was fun... we just worked like crazyies tryin to find more people.. we´re kinda frustrated right now cuz we only had one investigator in church...

this branch has got alot of problems, all the sisters are really gossipy and really mean and it has driven like half the members away from the church.. plus all the priesthood leaders are like pharisees i swear.. so the mission president is coming down next week to clean up i think... lol we talked to a family the other day that doesnt come because the branch president shot their dog... (it was in his yard tryin to get at his chickens) and so they havent came back... we talked to another lady who hasnt gone to church because all the ladies started rumors that she commited adultery and that she was pregnant from another guy.. (not true) so its gettin pretty bad... PLEASE DONT GOSSIP... what you say about people can have an eternal effect on someone's life and we will all be held responsible for the words we say... so be careful! JUST LOVE EVERYONE! who cares what they have done or said just love them, and both of you will be blessed for it... i am so sick and tired of seeing families suffer for stupid disputes over dumb things...

so this week we will be in chetumal from tonight until friday night or saturday morning for the week long training.. the apostles have changed completely all the lessons, the way we teach find and basically the way we do everything... so now we get to sit in the chapel from 7 am to 6 pm from mon to fri to recieve the training on everything... i´m excited but also a little scared as to waht is going to happen... lol ... and then this sunday there are changes again.. i think im staying here, i only have two changes.. lol

who knows... all according to the will of the Lord.

as we´ve talked to all these people with problems the Lord has blessed to be able to see them as hee sees them, to love them as he does, and when you can feel that you know exactly what they need and what they need to hear... I had a pretty cool experience this week, we were walking down the street and i saw a guy sititng all by himself on the curb, and I looked in his eyes and felt the most overwhelming feeling of charity.... I went over to him and introduced myself and my comp and told him that we were representatives of Jesus Christ and that we had been sent to tell him that his Heavenly Father loves him and knows him, and desires his happinees in this life and the next, and we invited him to church.. it was just a little simple thing, but it was amazing to feel the Christ-like love that he shares with all his servants when they are in tune... let us all strive to have more of the pure love of Christ! In Preach My Gospel and in Moroni it says that we should PRAY WIITHOUT CEASING and plead with our Heavenly Father that He can fill us with His love... I read that a few weeks ago and the Lord has blessed me since then as I've been striving to obtain it... I still have a LONG way to go, but I'm getting better little by little!

I love all of you I hope you have a great week! Take some time this week to smile at someone, do something for someone who is tired or sick or sad, for this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ..."
